The QLR conference abstract book has been published
We have updated the conference programme and prepared an abstract book for the event, which can be found here.
The conference is shaping up to be a very interesting one, thank you in advance to all participants for your interest in our event. It is great to be able to come together with such a diverse group of participants. The dates of some presentations have changed from the preliminary programme and a few presentations were cancelled, but no major changes have been made to the programme.
We have received some enquiries about the timing of the presentations, so we are informing everyone that each presentation will be allocated 15+5 minutes. The length of the presentation should therefore be 15 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions from the audience. There are no specific requirements for the format of the presentation, but PowerPoint is preferred. Presentations should be sent by 9.6.2024 to the conference email, funore@jyu.fi and we transfer it to a computer in the event room. The computer in the presentation room is running the Microsoft operating system, so please ensure that your presentation works on that operating system.
For your information also: The conference dinner is a casual and relaxed event. As Helsinki is a city by the sea and the dinner is in the archipelago, depending on the weather, windy conditions may be an example something to consider. It might be a good idea to bring a windproof jacket.
